Welcome to munrosWithFriends

Not the first web application for Munro bagging. But I believe the first to let you upload a custom map icon and create teams. For friendly competition and a view of who's bagged what already. Munro icon popups all have links to the trove of info on walkhighlands.

This is my first proper attempt at anything web development. I still don't care for JavaScript and am overreliant on app routing to handle things. Maybe one day I'll learn Angular or something. A lot has been overhauled and it skips all the cloud database ORM and deployment bits, but if any nerd wants to see the gist of developing a map-based project with Flask and Leaflet then check out the prototype code at github.com/mprallison/munros_with_friends.
